My Niner Experience

In some countries, the number of people who choose to live alone is increasing, what do you think are the reasons? In this phenomenon positive or negative to the development of the society?

“Leave me alone”, “Mind your own business”, “I can do it my own’, and among others are commonly be heard to people who would want to be alone. They preferred to be living alone because they find or feel it more comfortable. This concept is inevitable to happen mostly in some progressive countries, the reasons are first, conflicts. Conflict is a situation where two individuals coincides ideas, likes, beliefs, and among others. This is a situation sometimes ends up misunderstanding and mostly end up with breaking up with friends or even a relationship. So, better be not committed to anyone.

Second, to prove something to yourself or someone related to you that you can live without any help from them. Third, living independently seems like a core to mold your personality as an individual ready to face any challenges you may encounter in the future. Lastly, a very important advantage is also fact that you learn independence and responsibility paying your bills on time or doing shopping and taking care of yourself without others to count on.

These advantages are phenomenon positive in the development of a society. Why? Because the society itself will not worry about those people, who are diligent, and can’t to take care of themselves to become a good member. Also, I believe that living alone also implies that a person lives without a partner or children. Yes, societal advantage is “over populated” is not a big deal to the society and more workforce will be produce since children is a big obstacle to work. So, workforce, employment, and population will be in a great advantage.

However, despite of all advantages, living alone has phenomenon negative result to the success of the society. In fact with things considering our preexistence is still dominant and put into risk. In the long run, who would replace the old ones or those retirees, your workers, employers, or even the president or our leaders? Remember that we are made not tend to live alone we need company and family to take care of us. Also, having a family or children you will learn to become unselfish, and it enriched your life, it teaches you on how to apply development, discipline, and education. Mostly, a society is formed and composed of families and when people have happy, abundant, progressive, and well-disciplined families it carries the development of the society as well.

Introduce yourself:

My name is Sandee Flores, my first name is spelled out S-a-n-d-e-e. About my name it came from a song. My parents told me that it was Sunday morning of April 6, 1975 when I was given birth and at the same time the song “Sunday Morning” was played in the radio. So, they have decided to write on my birth certificate “Sandee” with a double “e” after the letter “d” instead of “y”.

My home town is Naga City, Camarines Sur, merely located at the eastern part of Luzon were the Mount Isarog is situated. Naga City, Camarines Sur is accessible by means of transportation by plane, and bus. If you are in Manila it will only took you 30mins travel time by plane and approximately 8 hours by bus.

Roughly, Naga City, Camarines Sur has a population of 160,516 with 27 barangays and a 2^nd class independent city. Naga City is the center of education in Bicol due to the presence of numerous academic institutions including three universities, namely: the Ateneo de Naga University (AdNU), the University of Nueva Caceres (UNC), and the Universidad de Santa Isabel (USI).

In 2006, Naga won the Philippines' Most Business-Friendly City award for three consecutive years, thus being elevated to the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industries' Hall of Fame.

Currently I worked as a web-developer and systems administrator at the same time of one of the prestigious university here in Bicol. In my work I spend my working hours in front of computers. These computers are configured to be a “Servers” distributing applications and internet services to all computers connected the network of the school.

During past time or free time I used to play basketball and watch NBA Live. My favorite team is Lakers and Kobe Bryant as the reigning MVP in 2008 and Lebron James. To enhance my computer programming skills I used to download from the Internet or watch lectures and training modules.
